Happy Birthday Landon!!
This is my little stinker. He just turned the BIG THREE!!
He couldn't help himself.
He had to eat HIS CHOCOLATE birthday cake while mom was waiting for it to cool.
He just couldn't wait to devour the chocolate!!!
It was a pretty rough birthday. The LONGEST day E.V.E.R!
Dad didn't think he was going to be home for it, so he snuck out to buy Landon something special from him. Mom didn't get it wrapped before Landon woke up. He was pretty excited about the birthday present, he even made mom wrap it..with his help of course!! Who's lucky enough to wrap their own presents!?!
Dad called and said he'd make it home.
The day drug on and on and on.
All Landon wanted to do was EAT HIS BIRTHDAY CAKE!!
Dad FINALLYmade it home...at 10:30 that night!!
Mom snuck up the presents while Landon was busy.
He couldn't believe all the presents he had!! He couldn't stop grinning!!
Every present he got was "Just what I wanted!!" ...even if he didn't know what it was!!
He's been loving the super hero's...so we did Spider-Man!!
He wanted Spider-Man on the cake...but I wasn't about to attempt that.
He told me "its okay mom, I'll show you how." Luckily I got away with just a spider web!

ONE WEEK
Payden is officially ONE week old!!
Landon isn't so sure what to think.
It was day 2 alone with the 3 kids...
Landon successfully...
Ate his birthday cake for tomorrow
Pooped his pants
drew all over himself with a pen
AND
took a bubble bath with MY body wash AND the baby wash
Madilyn misses her alone time with Mom,
but sure loves to be mom's "look out girl" as she calls it AKA Mom's big helper!!

Payden Don Hunting
Me at what felt like 12 months of being pregnant...
Landon came so fast that the doctor decided it would be safest to induce me at 39 weeks, especially for living an hour away from the hospital.
I was dropped and at a 2 for a week but we made it to induction day!!
7:00 am-get to hospital and do paper work and get settled in
8:15 start induction with a pill
9:00 decide the pill was stopping contractions, take it out and break my water
10:00 decided to get an epidural in case there were complications
(I didn't want them to have to pull him out like they did with Madilyn without one!)
11:50 Doctor comes in and says lets have this baby! We aren't going to make you wait for the doctor this time around! I gave four pushes and...

He was 8 lbs 3 oz and 20 1/4 inches long!!
Making him my biggest baby!!
Dad got to go with the nurses to clean baby and weigh and measure him.

Dad was a little bored being stuck in the hospital for 2 full days!! He was very glad he had his phone to keep him occupied!! AND his very own bed! No pull out chair bed this time!! Although, he almost lost his bed when I came close to getting a room mate!! YUCK! Luckily they put them next door!!
Grandma Jane brought the kids to see us a couple times. Madilyn took over the big sister role very responsibly!! Landon on the other hand didn't know what to think. He was very quiet and wanted NOTHING to do with me! He decided Dad it was okay to love dad again!! The last couple weeks he's been very serious about the fact that He. Does. Not. Love. Dad. Now, it was mom's turn!!
But he sure loved giving baby brother kisses!!
Dad took big brother and sister to go get pudding from the cafeteria!
I got bored. I started playing with the camera. I had no idea I could select one color to stand out!! Unfortunately everything in the hospital is WHITE!! There wasn't much I could take pictures of!

He was a little fussy at first, but slept the whole 2 hours we were in the car.
