No more wasting time!

After wasting away a beautiful summer, I decided that since I have my energy back I couldn't let the kids get sucked into cartoons all morning long!  Its been great!  This mom has LOVED it!! 

After breakfast the kids have their own chores they have to do!

1. get dressed, do hair, brush teeth.

2. Make their beds.

3.  One job for mom (sometimes I have to get pretty creative, but its nice giving them something extra to do so I don't have to do it).

Somedays it takes longer than it should.  But most days they finish in time to watch one cartoon before the morning "activity of the day"!

MONDAY'S: PRE-SCHOOL Day!!

(Madilyn REALLY wants to do it at the school, but I don't see the point in sending her for a month, having spud harvest break, then moving *crossing my fingers*.  The school in Stanley doesn't offer a pre-school.  So we do our own.  She enjoys it, but wishes it was ALL day long not just a couple hours!!  Landon does okay, he doesn't like to sit down and work on colors, numbers, counting, but he LOVES starfall.com and watching leap frog movies and wordworld on PBS.  He's only 2, what can I expect?!) 

TUESDAY: Park day with friends...

WEDNESDAY: Preschool and Gymnastics!!

THURSDAY: Craft Day!! 

We didn't get to it last week, Landon was sick and Madilyn never finished her chores.

FRIDAY:  Preschool

SATURDAY: Clean the house day and laundry!!

They are getting SO good at helping around the house.

AND I can finally reason with Landon!!

After lunch they play and play!  If Madilyn gets bored and doesn't know what to do, we have a jar of popsicle sticks with ideas written on them (paint nails, read stories, ride bikes...)  We actually haven't needed to use it very often!
