This helicopter comes with quite the story!! We went to the mall to get the kids some winter clothes. Ron ended up with this remote control helicopter. He left it with me while he went to get his hair cut. I set it down in Target to help the kids try on some coats. I grabbed everything and we went on our way. We loaded up the basket with everything we were going to need for Halloween costumes. Then I found the dyson vaccum we had been looking at was a hundred bucks off plus extra savings if I used my target card!! I gathered up the kids, parked the cart at customer service, went to the other side of the mall to get my wallet out of the car, and meet up with Ron. We finally got done at the mall and did some other shopping. At Wal-Mart Ron was playing around with a kids helicopter. My heart dropped!! I didn't remember grabbing the one we bought after we tried on the coats!! Completly ruined my day!! We went back to Target and it was sitting at customer service!! Whew! He would have never let me live that one down E.V.E.R! He had fun flying it around the house for a couple days before he crashed it into a bowl of water in the kitchen sink...and that was the end of the helicopter!!
Aparently climbing up the door frames got too easy, now we've moved on to climbing UP the walls!!
Before we moved we got to sit outside and watch the crop dusters fly planes right over us. The kids LOVED sitting outside and watching them swoop down to spray the fields. Well, now we watch for the medi-vac helicopter (is that what its even called)! It lands right across the street from our house at the hospital. Sometimes it comes 2-3 times a week!! But usually its pretty quiet. We love watching it through the windows!
My little goobers LOVE playing! I shouldn't be surprised by what they do anymore!!
Landon love hauling his blocks to the "dump" or making corrals for his farm animals with them!!
If I haven't seen or heard him for a while I can usually find him in Madilyn's room doing puzzles. It amazes me at how well he does them (Camille: He can even do that Precious Moments puzzle thats most white!!)
Madilyn is really good at letting Landon play with her...as long as he does what she tells him to do!! I've said it before, but I LOVE that she actually plays with her toys now!! Its so fun to watch!
And who needs a Barbie Car when you've got a tracor and trailor!!
Every morning Landon wakes up and has to get my "futhy" socks out of my drawer and puts them on with his pajamas!
A favorite game has always been hide and go seek. I showed Landon how to hide in the cupboards! They thought that was the funniest thing ever! They played in the "bunk beds" for an hour that night! And now I can usually expect them to empty the cabinet at least once a day so they can play there!!
