Our plans for Christmas Vacation were very wishy-washy! We were going to Texas. Then we weren't. We were going to fly. Then drive. Then fly. We ended up driving. We were going to leave on the 23rd as soon as Ron got everyone and everything situated with work...which didn't happen until 4:00 that afternoon! We had to drive straight through to get there at a decent time for Christmas Eve! It was a long LONG 24 hours!! The kids did amazing, even though Madilyn whined about the drive for 3 weeks before we left! They definitely had some energy to get out when they got there! Mom pulled out her accordion and played Christmas Carols for them! We didn't do our usual Christmas Eve dinner, but we did do our traditional PJ presents and Christmas lights. Since we've all graduated mom switched from getting us pajamas to a Christmas Book every year. This year it was "The Elf on the Shelf".

That is a way long drive!! And I thought our drive to AZ was bad!! Glad you guys made it safe and had a good Christmas :)
