PART II -Salt Lake

I told Camille that before we move to North Dakota I wanted to come and visit her.  Well, Allison got a job in Temple, Texas and Dad was flying to Salt Lake to help her and Tim drive their two cars down. It was the perfect chance to go.  We got home from visiting Ron Wednesday night, did a couple batches of laundry, and took off again Thursday afternoon to pick dad up from the airport! 

We waited and waited for Dad to come in! He was supposed to fly in at 4:30pm but didn't get there till 10pm!

Landon and Bridger had tons of fun unpacking (Camille's boxes) while we waited!

It was too late to do anything once he finally made it.  So much for dinner or ice cream!  We didn't get to spend much time with him.  But Madilyn said (2 weeks later..on the way home from our most recent N.D trip) "It was sure fun to see Granddad!" Even Landon had fun seeing him! (Gah! no pictures!!)

Friday morning we went down to Payson to visit Grandpa Evans.  He had a total knee replacement done three weeks before and was still having a hard time recovering.  After we visited a bit with Grandpa, we said our goodbyes to Allison, Tim, and Grandad, then Camille and I took the kids to the park in Spanish Fork to play with my favorite cousin Annie and her little girl Chloe! (Oops...no pictures AGAIN!!) But they were worn out by the time we got in the car!!

We must have spent a lot of time in the car here too!! (This was on our way down to see Grandpa Evans again) He looked a bit better on Sunday and had a nice chat with him!  But when we got there Landon kept asking me where Grandad was!!

We had Sunday dinner with Phil's parents and his brother's family. Madilyn and Landon had a blast with the kids!  SO many fun toys!!

We went to the park again too! I think my kids could LIVE at the park!!

Madilyn begged Phil to play air hockey with them!  It was the funniest thing ever!  Just look at her face!

They live pretty close to the airport.  Landon LOVED watching the planes fly over!

We had a blast shopping at Target!

We went to Bouncing off the Walls.  It was a lot of fun too!  We went and played for a bit until Phil got off work and could come and join us.  It was a workout!! The kids LOVED it! Well, MY kids loved it!  Have I told you how much Landon like slides??  Bridger on the other hand HATES them!!

We also went to Jungle Jim's--a mini indoor amusement park for kids.  They had a blast here as well!

I thought it was hilarious that they would put their hands up on the rides!  Madilyn caught on to that one by herself!  But I never got a picture of them doing it together!

We had a great time in Salt Lake!!  I wish we could go again!!

AND drum roll please!!  I survived driving by myself down there too!!

Whew! I HATE TRAFFIC!
